Ahaura

Here are my three things that I love about my hometown.

  1. Hello Ryan,

I am Vitaraag. I think it is very cool that you have a house that is also a shop. I think it would be really cool if I lived in a house like that. I have questions about the history park and the campground. What is the purpose of them and what do they show? Maybe next time you could explain.

    1. Dear Vitaraag, Hi it's Ryan here. The campground is for campers and travellers, I am surprisingly cleaning/working at the campground every evening (I wasn't expecting to be). The park shows some old antique tractors and a little hut/shed with history about old Ahaura! From Ryan

  2. Hello Ryan,
I am quite impressed that a shop is also your house. I would absolutely love to be in your shoes. I would also enjoy going to the history park and campground. What does the campground show? I am generally very interested in your area and where you live.

    1. Hi Gargee, it's Ryan here. The campground doesn't really show anything, but it does have a kitchen, tennis courts, toilets, and two brick pizza ovens. From Ryan!=)

  3. Hello Ryan,

I'm Evelyn and I am working with the Summer Learning Journey team for 2018-2019 to read and follow amazing blog posts like yours! I am so excited to read what pops into that wonderful brain of yours and hope you are having fun on this journey!

Those are some awesome photos of your hometown! I've never been to Ahaura before but I went to Greymouth when I was around 6 years old. I don't remember too much of the trip though. I would love to visit your hometown, it sounds like such a nice and cosy place to spend time with friends and family! What is your absolute favourite thing to do or place to go to in your hometown? I would love to hear more about it from you!

    Happy blogging,
    Evelyn :)

  4. Hi Ryan I'm Solly from Awahono School. I like how you said A.K.A my house. Maybe next time you could show the old vehicles in the field across the road from your house.I hope you keep up the good work!
